[6 months] Journey Girl

Journey is Jess & Dan's miracle baby. And this past week, she turned 6 months old. She is full of personality (just like her Mama), and she's absolutely smitten with her Daddy. Can't wait to show the rest from today's session, but this little sunbeam will have to do for now! :)

Nicole + Sanjeev :: Chicago Engagement Session

Adam and I ventured to the Windy City yesterday afternoon to meet Nicole and Sanjeev for an engagement session. And let me tell you, they are a stunning couple! Perfect in love. And since I'm terribly speechless with some of their pictures ("Oh, my gosh, Adam! Do you see them?!), I'm posting a preview of our special day together!

Rescue Kitty.

He's like a dog. Rolls on his back for us to scratch his belly, licks our faces, and on more than one occasion, goes scrounging through the trash can. He grunts instead of meows. And he's terrified of the TV.

But he's desperate for love.

That's why we rescued him. We just didn't know he'd rescue us right back.

Olivia + Douglas [MARRIED!]

She was the most beautiful bride...

Olivia and I were roommates in college; we talked and dreamed about our perfect man. And when I met Douglas, I knew he was it. After shooting their engagement session, I was even more convinced that their love was unstoppable. And that has led us to their wedding: May 27th, 2011.

Their bridal party was a hoot. I mean, literally~ hootin' and hollerin' their excitement for their dear friends.

And when I requested some silly pictures, they had absolutely no problem obliging.

Olivia and Douglas enjoyed their day to the fullest: heart-felt (hilarious!) toasts, cutting (and subsequently, shoving) the cake, and dancing the night away in wedded bliss...

Adam and I had a wonderful time at your wedding, and we wish you a lifetime of joy! You two are amazing! :)

Bekah + Jeremy [MARRIED!]

You'd think I'd be hiding under the covers. The first wedding of the season was only hours away, and I couldn't be anything except excited. Butterflies in my tummy, yes, but my oh my, the sun was shining and the sun's warmth touched my shoulders. Let the wedding march begin.

Adam and I have known Bekah and Jeremy for about a year or so, and we couldn't have been more honored to be able to document their special day. May 21st was beautiful and the perfect day for a wedding. Their smiles were east to west, and their eyes sparkled with love.

Absolutely loved Bekah's shoes! What can I say? The girl's got style! ;)

The rain even held off for a bit for us to take a quick trip down to the beach for a few minutes.

Bekah! You are stunning! Jeremy...you're pretty handsome yourself too. ;)

This final picture could quite possibly be my favorite picture from the night! The entire crowd was begging for the couple to kiss, and what a view I got! ;)

Congratulations, friends! Your day couldn't have been any more perfect, and Adam and I wish you the absolute best! We hope you're having a wonderful honeymoon! I have 317 more pictures still to look over and give you guys! ;)
